TODAY WE CALL IT BIM
previously we called it product modulation or 3d-cad
we are already moving towards plm
and there are many more Definitions used today. Information management, vdc etc
WHAT DO WE CALL IT?
We offer digitizing of projects and facilities management through services within four, ever evolving areas:
BIM is beneficial to anyone given the right goals, ambition and orientation.
The implementation of BIM in a project takes more than just good looking 3D models. It is primarily a question about specifying impact goals and identifying risks connected to the project as well as the company.
The implementation of each goal requires management of the preconditions for the successful implementation such as management of the organization, processes, methodology and technology.
Successful implementation of BIM strategies is conducted by Plan B in both smaller and larger organizations. Amongst our customers you will find Trafikverket, NCC, HSB.
It is common to equal BIM management with collision control. We believe that nine out of ten controls that are performed today are irrelevant as a result of flaws in the BIM management process.
We work in a structured way with independent controls of information delivery. We are able to do this thanks to clever rules and routines built on long experience. Our methods are combined with both national and international concepts such as Level of Development (LOD), BSAB and the CoClass system.
We build our models and tools on the concept of high usability. Therefore we strive to consequently ensure practical usage in meetings, analyses, project communications, calculations etc.
information management REFERENcES
Information management is often considered to be one of the most boring assignments and is therefore often (deliberately) forgotten or poorly executed. This is sucha a pity!
Without structured data there is no basis for structured data deliveries. One example can be that poorly structured data leads to poorly structured calculations, which in turn leads to a uncertainties in project management. This is true for all deliveries, from 3D-coordination to the deliveries of schemas and technical documentation.
Product Lifecycle Management
Information management does not end with the delivery of a project to management. This is when the journey starts. Information management is not limited to files containing object models. Is is handled on object level.
All the information in and around a project isn’t allocated to one particulate object, but rather to many places and in a variety of systems where it is used and refined within different operation-, maintenance and management processes.
Does it sound exciting? We are already working with a number of clients to incorporate and apply Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and we see it as the future for the digitization projects and management.
